Wishing. 51/51. #LifeThisWeek. 132/2021.

Wishing. 51/51. #LifeThisWeek. 132/2021.

Wishing you all, dear readers, bloggers and friends, a very happy festive season.

Whether you celebrate or not, or believe in the Christian version of Christmas, or perhaps celebrate a different season in your family and beliefs’ calendar, you are wished:

GOOD health…always

GOOD prospects for the year  ahead

GOOD news all the way….(a bit fanciful but it is about wishing, right?)

GOOD fortune.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

The post today is light on…I have added Telling My Story : Christmas Memories into the link up…and filled with good wishes to you all!

See you back here, if you are planning so, on Monday 3 January 2022. Life this Week.

My current image background. My two kids in left and right pics…me with 3 oldest Gkids in middle, and those three with one son of my son!

Denyse.

Four songs from “MY” Christmas memories.

My oldest grandkids – see photo above “loved” Hi Five way back.

My fave to sing along in the car since 2014:

And the song which helped me ‘get through’ hard times at Christmas 2017 in recovering from my 2 (then) head and neck cancer surgeries.

See you soon…in two weeks exactly.

Denyse.

  2. Hi Denyse, I enjoyed the pictures and the music. Not enough Christmas music in my life:) busyness and life have caused me to be absent but adding a post that I hope is appropriate, and helpful. Have a wonderful Christmas, however you celebrate. Hoping to be a little more present in the months to come . Michele

    • Hello Michele, and it is always good to see you here.

  4. I love your collage Denyse and your music. We haven’t played carols as much as usual this year. I’m not sure why but we’ll have to make up for that this week. A big thanks to you for providing this link for us and all the work you do. I know it’s very time consuming. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I hope it’s a happy and peaceful time for you.

    • Thank you so much Jennifer.

I admit I ‘make the music of Christmas happen’ even though it has, at times, made me sad for what is no longer. But I changed my attitude to “being grateful for what was”…and that is why I continue.

Merry Christmas to you and yours Jen. May next year be the one when you get to see family in person again.

We are looking forward to our first Christmas since 2014 when our two kids and their 4 respectively will be all together.

Looking forward to seeing you and other blogging friends again on January 3rd or when you are ready with a post!

  8. Beautiful images Denyse. I am trying so hard to be in the mood for Christmas this year. Missing my husband and the kids father so much still. First Christmas without him.
Thank you for hosting your amazing link up this year. Have a very Merry Christmas. Xxxxx

    • Oh Jody, you and the kids are in my thoughts. It’s a tough and cruel reminded that he is no longer present in person. I hope, with the love I see connecting you all, there is a ‘sense’ of him being there.

Looking forward to seeing you and other blogging friends again on January 3rd or when you are ready with a post!

      See you in 2022.

  9. I refuse to click on a couple of those songs Denyse lest I be left with an earworm for the rest of the day.

I hope you also have a wonderful Christmas and festive season. xxx

Thanks for all the link ups throughout the year and for managing to keep it relevant to those of us who don’t fit into most of the the other parties out there. Sending you a big virtual Christmas hug xxx

    • Thank YOU Leanne for your cheerleading of this link up from WA. Your words resonated and I am glad that we will continue here and relevance is indeed a criteria.

Right now we have everything planned for our first Christmas with kids and grandkids since 2014 but if that nasty C thing seems risky then…sadly it may not happen. Fingers crossed.

Looking forward to seeing you and other blogging friends again on January 3rd or when you are ready with a post!
