Share Your Snaps #9. 45/51. #LifeThisWeek. 111/2019.

It’s that time again. Every 5 weeks here where the ‘snaps’ are shared. I know I share lots of my photos in posts but am determined, to make this post less wordy and more pictorial!

Here goes. In line with last week’s post on colours…love them…

I am going to post photos which highlight colours…AND guess who does this best? Nature.

ON ANOTHER TOPIC! Women of Courage.

I am looking for new Women of Courage to highlight in 2020. The current series finishes next week at #25. Then the series will be on a break (as they say in media-land) returning in early February 2020 on Wednesdays.

I would LOVE you (if you have not already!) to send me a message here: that you’d like to be part of it. It involves answering just 5 questions. And adding an image of yourself.

As you may know already from reading the series (here for those who want a refresh) “courage” comes in many forms. Sometimes getting up in the morning is an act of courage as is travelling solo around the globe.

Please consider this. I am so very proud of all who have submitted their stories and of those who have been published, I think there’s been a great deal of excellent feedback to know how much it was appreciated.

Will you be in it?

And that folks, is the second last Share Your Snaps for 2019.

Can you believe how fast this year is flying to the finish line?

You can link up something old or new, just come on in. * Please add just ONE post each week! * Feel free to go with the prompt for the week to add your ‘take’ on the prompt. Or not. * Please do stay to comment on my post as I always reply and it’s a bloggy thing to do! * Check out what others are up to by leaving a comment because we all love our comments, right! * Add a link back to this blog in your post somewhere. I don’t have a ‘button’ so a link in text is fine! *Posts deemed by me, the owner of the blog and the link-up, to be unsuitable for my audience will be deleted without notice. * THANK you for linking up today!

Next Week’s optional prompt is: 46/51 Gift Idea For Teachers 18/11/19

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. So much colour in one post (and super snaps too!) I cannot believe how fast this year is flying by – I wish there was a pause button!

    • Thank you!
I went to a big shopping centre today at Charlestown (Newcastle) to meet Kirsty and I had to accept “Christmas is Coming”…music, decorations….yep, book your puppy for his Santa photo soon.

  2. I like the theme of colours (the yellow is a particularly splendid photo!)

  3. Beautiful colours, Denyse. I agree with you..Nature does it best. The next few weeks will fly by and we’ll be saying Happy 2020 soon.

    • Thank you.

It is going slightly faster than I recall in the past.

PS you commented twice under different emails. I deleted one.

  4. I love all your colour Denyse and completely understand how hard it is to be less wordy!!! I have included a post from last Friday that has some snaps and thought I’d share here today as I’m in ‘preparation for flight mode’. Thanks again for your fabulous #lifethisweek community!! I love it 🙂

    • Oh flight mode…and a hand to hold on the plane this time round.

What a mixed set of emotions you must be feeling.

All the same, some time taken to slow down (on the plane, no choice!) might help…

      Thinking of you all.

      Take care my friend

  5. I’m loving all those beautiful flowers Denyse! Very cheerful!

  6. Hi Denyse – I loved your take on all the different colours – nature gives us such a lovely variety if we open our eyes and really look. Congrats on your Woman of Courage series – I can’t believe that you’ve had 25 women for 2019 – it’ll be interesting to see who you feature for the rest of the year and into 2020.

    • Yes, colour is all around if we just open out eyes widely.

The series will stop at 25 for the rest of 2019 as I wanted the women who have yet to share to be featured once the ‘silly and less busy’ season of December into January is over. So, first week of February, each Wednesday it will return…as I hope yours and Sue’s link up Midlife Share the Love does too.

Thank you for your kind words about the series.

      Denyse x

  7. So much colour in nature…incomparable. I’m loving the red of the flame trees at the moment & the first blooms of poinciana.

    • I have seen a few flame trees too recently but short of stopping the car and asking to go into people’s yard, they do not get a photo.

Watching the end of the jacarandas but soon there will be frangipanis.

I am sure up your way it will be already Summer Splendid..but hey, you will be in UK having a cool yule.

  8. Beautiful colours!

  9. I love that time of year when the flowers are in full bloom! Those colours are stunning!

  10. Thanks for sharing your colorful photos with us, Denyse. I was just mourning losing all my flowers to the latest cold snap here in the US when I saw the photos of all of yours. They brightened my day!

    • Oh Laurie, I am glad.

We have the most awful drought and bush fires raging in the state where I live in Australia (we are OK) and the craziness of it all is that we need rain..and will it fall where we need it? Not yet.

Thank you for your kind words.
