I Can’t Find Photos With Violet* In Them. #SundayStills. 47/2021.

*oh but wait. Look here.

I found some. Phew.

Indeed I did.

But first, About Sunday Stills:

Terri here has now  moved into her new abode and her friend from Always Write  was caring for Sunday Stills while she did so.

V I O L E T.

The first thing that came to mind was of course, the flower but then I saw colour challenge and had a look. Oh my.

So many varieties in this colour with blue tinges and red tinges.

So, without further ado,

Here are my examples of violet from family snaps and my garden and a few from here and there.

Family snaps in violet.

From Our Garden Violet.

Arty Violet.

Out and About Violet.

I ended up loving the images I found and am indeed very fond of violet in all her tones.

  1. What a fabulous collection of violet Denys, especially the bucket! I’m writing up my post as we speak but it was something I had to go out and look for photos, always a fun activity!

    • Denyse Whelan says:

Thanks Debbie, I just commented on your post. I ended up having more “blue/purple” than I realised…which for my eye is like violet. Colour is very tricky though as I have found since discovering art and using many paints, pencils and markers…I tend to the love of the blue purple rather than the red purple.

See you tomorrow I hope…for Life This Week!

  2. What a fab collection of all things violet, purple, and beyond, Denyse! I’m amazed at how often I see this color in everyday life. I do love your drawings that you painted, what a lovely activity! Thanks for hanging in there with me and Marsha for Sunday Stills. Always a pleasure to read your interpretations.

    • I know! How good it was when I did my search to find such a range. Great to see you back. It’s been great seeing how things are going for you..moving is huge, let alone building.

Marsha did a great job and bonus for me was getting to know her better!

      Thanks Terri.

  3. Those violets worked perfectly! 🙂 I particularly loved your grandbabies purple clothes. 🙂

    • I realised just how many examples I had of purples of all hue when I trawled through my 1000s of photos!

      Thanks so much Marsha,

  4. That’s a lot of violet colours! Love the flowers! For a long time, purple and all its shades was one of my favourite colours.

  5. I know …I had many more than I realised. Mum loved her colours and purple was one!

Interesting about colours and how some are favourites. I am pretty much into the brights!!

    Thanks Sanch,
